A wave of concern has swept through Karns High School, as students noticed something different about the cookies that the marketing class sells on Fridays.
“They look smaller,” Audrey Ballard said. “I remember that last year they were way bigger.”
Last year, the marketing class sold two cookies for a dollar. Now, the marketing class sells one cookie for a dollar. Some students feel like this deal isn’t as sweet.
“For one dollar we get one cookie, That’s not a good deal.” Tyler Woods said.
Other students agree. All the students except for the freshmen this year experienced the cookie deal go down.
“Yeah, but they used to be one dollar for two cookies… now they’re one dollar for one [cookie],” Jessica Friel said. “The two cookies were bigger than the one cookie we get now.”
Even though some students are disappointed about the size, they still enjoy eating them. The marketing class enjoys selling them too.
Most students miss the old cookies and prefer them to the new ones. They got much more cookie for the same amount they pay now. Hopefully, the old cookie deal comes back, but for now, students will unfortunately have to deal with the current costs.
