Seniors are excited about graduating on May 14 2026 at Karns High School, but in the meantime they are thinking about future plans.
Seniors can’t wait for graduation to happen and for their adult lives to begin. Percussionist Kameron Teffeteller, Color Guard Karley Jones, and Caleb Stoner were interviewed about this subject.
“I do like [the freedom] and the opportunities that they dedicate to seniors, other than for juniors and sophomores,” Stoner said
Some clubs like Avid opportunities in KHS allow trips for Seniors to visit colleges that they might attend if given a scholarship or even money to pay for a scholarship somewhere else.
“I think every senior should have a positive experience that they can use to further impact other people.” Jones said
Clubs and sports also have their benefits to Senior life by providing stress reduction, instilling healthy ethics, improving sportsmanship, teamwork, great memories, and a positive mindset.
“The reality of it happening is that you feel that you just walked in here the other day, now you’re almost a quarter way into your senior year,” Teffeteller said
The journey from Kindergarten to Senior in High School has taken years but feels like only yesterday you passed Kindergarten. The journey to becoming adults has had its highs and lows, constant phases and trends shaping us to our unique styles, our parents guiding us through our most difficult problems, and learning the morals and values we believe in.
