Karns High is making a new floor for the gym, making it brighter and shinier. Unlike the old one where it was wearing off and not as shiny, the workers are adding more of their slogan colors like blue and yellow, to improve the gym and make it look nicer. 

Also for any P.E. participants  can play any sports like basketball, volleyball, 4 square, run, walk around etc.

“The flooring on the floor looks good to me, I also like the yellow senses,” Victor Hernandez said, “It’s brighter than the last time they made it.”

The new gym floor isn’t just about looks; it’s built for better performance and safety. The smoother surface helps prevent falls, injuries, etc. so students don’t get in danger for any causes that happen in the gym.

The updated design also features clear boundary lines for each sport like basketball, volleyball. Many students and teachers are excited  about the upgrade because it gives the gym a fresh, professional feel that matches the school’s pride and spirit.

“When I saw the new flooring I was amazed at how much work they put on the colors and making the gym look amazing,” Sam Lucas said.

The floor has transformed the space, giving it a fresh look that shows off the school colors. When it’s time for prep rally games, people look at the students that are participating in the football games and see that they really had changed the colors from before and made the gym a bit brighter by how much they put on the flooring.

“When I was watching people play the games I would laugh because they are pretty funny to watch but also the way they designed the flooring is just incredible,” Perla Martinez said.
