The Beavers Get Stomped on Loss to Rhea county 28-66

Karns traveled to Rhea county this past friday to play their final away game of the season against the Eagles. Rhea county got on the board early with a Touchdown to make it 7-0. The Eagles quickly got the ball back and scored to make it 14-0 Eagles. With the Beavers falling behind fast Rhea county put up 7 more points to make it 21-0 Rhea county with 6.7 seconds left to go in the first. Karns came out hot in the start of the second quarter with a touchdown pass from Walker Lockhart to make it 21-7 Eagles with 11:42 to go in the second. Rhea county blew the doors open with two more scores and with 6:50nleft to go in the second the Eagles were atop the beavers 35-7. The Beavers came back with a score of their own and made it 35-14 Rhea County. Karns got a huge stop and found the endzone with a TD run from Desean Bishop. At Half time the score was 35-21 Rhea county leading. The eagles came out of the locker room red hot and put a charge into their offense. The beavers were unsuccessful trying to stop the Eagle defense and with 1:27 left to go in the third the eagles had amassed a lead of 51-28. At the end of the game the final score was Rhea county 66, Karns 28. The beavers look to get a win against Clinton in their final game of the season this Friday night.
