The Lady Beavers were looking to keep the fire going with a win over Austin East this past Friday. The Lady Beavers started this season off red hot, winning their last three out of four games. Karns trailed early after a few early scores by Austin East to put them up 4-0. The Lady Beavers quickly came back with a few points of their own and by the end period of the first Karns was up 11-9.  The Lady Beavers caught fire and put up 15 points in the second period to put them ahead 26-13. The Lady Roadrunners quickly trailed behind and were unable to keep up with the Beavers offense. By the end of the third period Karns was up 37-20 with no sign of slowing down on offense. The Beavers continued to put up layup after layup to increase their lead over the roadrunners. At the end of the game the Lady Beavers beat the Lady Roadrunners 51-31. Anna Kate led the Lady Beavers offense with 29 points. Karns looks to extend their win streak against Central High school this Friday.
