Behind the Mask: Jordan Ostlund

Behind the Mask is a column that showcases some of the unique students who roam our halls, one story at a time. It takes its inspiration from Brandon Stanton’s Humans of New York photoblog.
Jordan Ostlund is a freshman at Karns High School this year, and he is a member of the Karns High School Football Team, playing defensive end. He has said that being on the football team is his favorite part of high school so far, and he is happy that they are having a winning season this year. He also explained that he is interested in welding as a career, and he enjoys his social studies class taught by his favorite teacher, Ms. Dean. He gave advice to students saying, “Keep going strong, you got this, don’t give up.”
