The newly recognized Karns High School basketball player, Bubba Faulkner, has been active in his team, and has been hardworking in his basketball career. His team and coach both appreciate his ethic and skills.

Bubba’s biggest inspiration is his loved ones. They always help him keep his head up during a game. His mother is his biggest inspiration for basketball because she always encouraged him to give it his all.

“My mom inspires me because she built me up for this sport and pushed me to work harder,” Bubba said.

The entertainment factor also influences Bubba to enjoy the game and enjoy the sport of basketball itself. Entertaining people and one’s self all in one activity is truly exciting. Bubba gets to enjoy basketball as well as compete for his school, and it really shows spirit and passion for Karns and the sport.

Coach Hartsfield encouraged the idea of Bubba being an amazing team player. Faulkner leads the basketball team with strength and intent. He displays leadership and courage on the court, and he is recognized for these team building skills by his coach.

“Bubba is really good at pushing his teammates in practice and getting the most out of his team,” Hartsfield said, “he’s a leader all the time, on and off the court.”

Bubba has been a huge difference-maker for this basketball season. Due to his leadership, our team has turned this season around and is on a 3 game winning streak. Come to the next game to watch Bubba bring our basketball team to victory! Go Beavers!
