Emily Moore, Managing Editor
Emily Moore is a senior and the managing editor for The Karns Chronicle. She also runs the school podcast, Dispatches From The Dam. She firmly believes that a bitter cup of tea or coffee and a nap can fix everything, except for complex math. She also believes that you shouldn’t stay up very late, unless you have just gotten to the good part of your book, in which case you should stay up all night and disregard your responsibilities. She loves to write and has the most experience in short fiction, but has been looking forward to working on and editing the paper since summer, and wants to become a published author and editor someday. Her favorite books include Johnathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke, Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood, and anything by Lemony Snicket. She also loves to bake, primarily desserts to eat while she writes. She can usually be found writing, drinking coffee, reading, and staying up late, disregarding her responsibilities.
